How well do you speak the language?

There is a self-assessment test for this. You can determine which language level your knowledge corresponds to - at levels from A1 to B2.

Level A1

Level A1 refers to absolute beginners who do not yet have any skills.
So you have this level when you start learning a language for the first time.
The course starts from zero.

For example, I cannot:
⬜ greet someone and introduce myself
⬜ ask and answer simple questions
⬜ understand numbers, the alphabet and times
⬜ write a short note

Level A2

I can express myself in the simplest possible way with the help of single words, short sentences, facial expressions and gestures.

For example, I can:

⬜ write a short note

Level B1

Those who are already somewhat advanced, i.e. have mastered the elementary basics of a language, can acquire level B1.

For example, I can:
⬜ order something to eat and drink
⬜ ask for directions
⬜ understand a short announcement, e.g. in the airport

Level B2

I can communicate quite well in most everyday situations, but still with mistakes.

For example, I can:
⬜ have simple conversations on familiar topics
⬜ understand a phone message when speaking relatively slowly
⬜ understand a simple newspaper article
⬜ communicate in most situations abroad
